Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated stealthily to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy to piney and a touch of grapefruity to orangey hops; light clean malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes somewhat piney and grapefruity
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness - mostly nothing really distracting; nice low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nicely done New England styled IPA worth coming back to.

02/08/19, maybe I should have rolled this can considering how the second glass looks compared to the first. Or maybe not rolled it? Lots of hops errrwhere. Still nice and sweet.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to our drinking buddy - Bruce for this can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, lovely light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a bitter orange and a touch of pith. Little grapefruit. Fresher orange emerges and then a little bitterish lemon. Smooth dry finish. Very fresh and drinkable.

Draught at Picco, 6/20/17.
Heavily hazy, bronze-golden with an almost lime-like tint to it. Thick white head atop shows moderately-strong retention.
Unripe tropical fruit notes in the nose of papaya, nectarine, pineapple and lemon/lime zest gain a bit of biscuit and light honey-like malts, that more or less balance. There’s a strong spiciness to it, underarching everything, which I assume is the hallertauer blanc. Some light minerality/wine-like character but not nearly as strong as usual for Galaxy. Some light resin on the finish but nothing aggressive, with no flaw or alcohol.
Strong carbonation, fortunately quite tight and engaging, spurs on a moderate bitterness that is highlighted by pineapple and nectarine notes. Strong biscuit-like malts and light-to-moderate honey-like sweetness create a very "thick" texture that helps soak up a lot of the bitterness. Still, there’s a lot more of it here than I’d prefer and even where the bitterness ends, there’s a lot of uninteresting, bland, unripe nectarine/pineapple character. Warming/breathing helps, of course, leading to a bit more general juiciness/fruitiness, but this is not my favorite display of the otherwise fantastic Galaxy hop. Could be the addition of Hallertauer blanc, which I’ve thus far been highly unimpressed with, finding it to have neither the lush, elegant, spicy, freshly cut grass of classic Hallertauer strains, nor any developed, juicy fruit character of the nouveau IPA hops.

Aroma is nice dank hop, pencil shavings, citrus, little rubber. Mellow citrus. Flavour is composed of juicy tangerine, peach, apricot, pale grains, rubber, mellow dank, Palate is semi sweet, crisp, moderate carbonation. Super drinkable. Great.

Can thanks to Bruce. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, quite green, grassy, pine dust, ripe fruits, apricot, peachy, candied peel, yellow plum and brioche. The taste is crisp, dry, limited bitterness, green, pine dust, yellow plum, nectarine, peach, tannin, earl grey tea and straw with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Bright and fresh, delicious.
