Pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of peat, lots of peat, smoke, ash, light lactic acid. Sour flavour, peat, lemon. Finish ash, peat, warm sour, yoghurt. Nice and interesting!

Bottle bought @ Kihoskh. Pours very hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some sparse lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is smokey, tiny fruity and tiny funky with sourdough crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, hay, smoked ham, minerals, barnyard, lemon zest and hints of burnt wood. Taste is sour, smoke, tiny fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, smoked ham, hay, barnyard and lemon zest. Don’t detect much rye whisky but I like it as a smoked sour.

Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew.

Pale, fully hazy straw-yellow beer, head gone in secs. Smoked, phenols, and a touch (or more) of lactic acid. Very sour flavour and the phenols arriving retronasal. Lactic, lemon, citric acid, Brett. Acid thinning, sharp, fiery MF, spritzy titillating MF. A bit of an overdose, IMHO.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Milky citrus, lemon. Nose is big peat, burned plastic peat, puckering sour, simple sourness. Taste is big lemon, lactic sour, peated puckering lemon acidity sour, very puckering, plastic peat,… Lactic & acidic body. Simple despite the combination of extremes, very basic but pleasant all the same. Neat.

Cloudy pale yellowish beer, small creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very peated, bit fruity, sourish, funky, lemon, soapy, chemical. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very peated, vinegar, citric acidity, soapy. Aftertaste: lemon juice, peated, vinegar, bitter touch. Meh.
