330ml (thx Alex for bringing) @ home shared with Alex. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: lots of vanilla with some chocolate notes, maybe some slight corn notes. Taste: along the same lines, not very thick as for 9.9%. Overall: ok.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of raisins, with a touch of cocoa, and a little caramel. Flavour is loaded with vanilla galore, with some dark fruits, and cocoa. Nice vanilla character, though it is a bit over-the-top. Solid.

On keg at Rutland Arms Sheffield - deep black body tan head . Nose is malty and sweet. That taste is helped by a duck it I'm lost now. Superb and viscous.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of nutty chocolate, vanilla, and roasted malts. Flavors of sweetened dark chocolate, vanilla, and dry roasted malts. Somewhat acidic, nutty and dry but that's a porter... very nice

First things first: this looks exactly what you want a dark beer to look like. No seeing through it and a good tan head. Dreamy. Smells great too, with some vanilla and coffee kicking about in there. The flavour lives up to all this. Vanilla, coffee, a little toasty, toffee, malty goodness in there and it's got a nice, viscous feel to it in the mouth. Yeah, this is what you want from this. Nice, warm finish too.

330ml bottle. Black, with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malts, vanilla. Taste is roasty, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cake, bittersweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. More bitter than expected and the vanilla isn't that prominent, still decent though.

Bottle picked up from Biervana, Munich. Consumed at home Sunday 3rd December 2018 Pours black with a fast disappearing tan head. Lots of chocolate, smooth, I get a little bit of chilli, vanilla, creamy, this is wonderful, this tastes barrel aged. Superb beer and like a it suggests its cakey. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 4.0
