Clear copper gold with a rich white head. Earthy, grains and some caramel. Touch of ketchup and caramel with a long finish. Something is not quite right.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy amber with medium off white head. The aroma is toasted malt and dark fruit. Thin body, bready malt, raisin, earth, light finish, good.

12 oz. can purchased in San Antonio, TX. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a white head and fair retention. Spotty lacing. Caramel aroma. A tame, middle of the road amber lager with a crisp finish. I didn't like the first sip, but it kinda grows on you. It's decent, but not a great Oktoberfest, IMHO.

12 oz can purchased at Owasso Liquor & Wine in Owasso, Oklahoma. Canned on 08/15/17 stamped on the bottom of the can. The pour is a slight hazed orange golden with a 2 inch well formed off white head. The aroma is dusty cracker malt, bit of nut, and sort of a general apple sweetness. The taste is malt, combination of the cracker, nut and soft sweet of the nose. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and lingering soft sweet finish. Solid.

Draft at Republic. Clear golden color, white head with spidery lacing. Aroma of fresh biscuits. Taste is malty, almost chewy. Good representation of the style.
