375ml bottle thanks to Shivandragon. Pours black, thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, vanilla hints. Taste is lightly slick, softly sweet, medium bodied with gentle chocolate, faint roast, tobacco emerging on the finish. Good porter.

Batch 12. Simply put a gorgeous porter. Great mouthfeel, chewy indeed. Plenty of licorice and coffee, soft and creamy, tiny bit sweet and a solid bitterness. Very well made, no funny stuff.

0.375 l bottle from 'De Bierkoning', best before September 2022, cellared for a year. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, some vanilla and a touch of milk coffee. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, hazelnut, licorice, some milk coffee and hints of vanilla, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant beer, good balance, easily drinkable for that abv.

375 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. BBF 9-2022. Very dark brown to black, deep mocha coffee head. Nose is cacao, brown cereal, chocolate, bitter roast. Bitter roast upfront, very simple, bitter espresso, too many plastic notes, decent simple coffee & malt roast brew,... Little complextiy, depth, bit too plastic but decent,... Body is plastic & roasted malt. Tried 3 beers so far from this brewery, I don’t get the hype & I don’t get how this is top 50 in its respective style.
