Can. Xmas gift from the missus. Clear gold. Slim sticky white foam. Nose has pine needle. Mint leaf. Whiff of the juniper. Taste is semi sweet with a light sappy bitterness. Nice easy drinking overall. Light bitter finish.

Marks & Sparks Own Brand Cans Evening At Home Beer#1 of 3. Starting with the clear golden Adnams brew. A lager-esque pale for me, with a similar clean texture and taste and light citrus providing the character for this. Its mint plays a part though, similarly light but evident in both aroma and taste.

Can at home picked up from Watford M&S. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a fading loose white head. Aroma is big woody pine, bark, grass, some metallic, biscuit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, clean semi crisp malts, biscuit, fragrant pine, sap, fizzy, bark. Palate is semi crisp, refreshing , fine carbonation. Drinks pretty good.
