Victorian Craft Beer Cafe Back In Black Beer Festival 2025, Beer#8. All black and a gaseous dark-malty beer, quite sweet in this respect too, but not overly so in general terms. Most booziest in aroma, but not very. Decent body. Fine ale but without portfolio really.

Third of a pint at the Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival on 25th September 2025. Dark brown body, tanned smooth crown on top. Malty chocolate with a cherry undertone, Black Forrest Gateau meets Guinness sort of thing.

Near black with a frothy/bubbly tan head and a chocolate and cherry aroma. Smooth and creamy, soft roasted malt, chocolate and a touch of tart cherry in the finish.
