Unfiltered, unpasteurized American pale ale which gets its fruity nose (peach, passion fruit, grapefruit) by dryhopping with Mosaic and Citra and gets its greasy mouthfeel by the use of rye.

On tap at the 11th Brugge beer Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, fruity, yeasty aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, yeasty, citrus, quite sweet. Pleasant Belgian.

F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: pale gold, light hazy. A: malty, tangerine, tropical fruit, pineapple, floral. T: malty with dry fruity tones, banana, kiwi, tangerine, bit grapefruit, touch of tropical fruit, bit caramel, bit earthy touch, dry on the palate with decent bitterness aftertaste, very good balanced, and tasty, I like it, medium body with higher carbonation, 0,33l bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.

At Café Congé, Ghent, shared with Anke. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, foamy, white head. The aroma contains peach, pineapple, lemon, yeast, hops & spices. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter; bit spicy and yeasty ending. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. A very well balanced and well made, modern Belgian Ale!

Bottle at billie’s, antwerp, in is own weird glass. Orange color light have, massive white head one of the greatest i’ve ever seen, rocky and pulling out of the glass and sticking everywhere. Malty and syrupy with spices, belgian yeast, fruity, sugary, nice citrusy hops. Taste is great, juicy, flavorful, balanced by smooth and sustained hops bitterness. Soft carbonation, medium to full body. Long aromatic finish, very smooth. Delicious!

Sample at 24 uurs van Maastricht 2017: Weird colour, aroma is some grain and fruit. Taste is the same and very soapy, again what was with the Hedonis stand? ... weird off flavours there.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Belgian yeast aroma. Smooth in the mouth, some herby hoppy finish. Hoppy finish. I rather liked it. Standard Belgian blond ale, but a little drier and a little hoppier than most, a little perfumed. Rather good.

Bottle at home. Almost clear golden with lots of tiny particles floating around. At first it’s really like a German pils with pils malts, light grasy, soft honey. There’s also some tropical fruits, bread, bitter herbs. There’s quite some bitter hops but a bit strange hop aroma. Something seems to be a bit stale and off here. Medum sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. Weird, not really my thing. Maybe something is wrong with this bottle? It also looks weird.
