This big stout get’s aggressive with a boost from Allegro Coffee’s Exotic Mocha Java Blend. The coffee’s dark cherry flavors and spicy undertones weave into the rich, milky sweet stout like a chocolate-covered espresso bean melting on your tongue. Bitter then sweet. Sweet then bitter. It’s Bittersweet.

On tap. Pours black with full nitro head. Aromas of dry roasted malts and black coffee muted by nitro. Flavors of espresso, dry roasted malts, dark chocolate powder and a bit of ash. Slick and tasty dry Stout.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with orange highlights and a huge foamy tan head that lingered forever and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy with coffee and vanilla notes. The flavor was strong brewed coffee, vanilla and toasty malts. Long brewed coffee finish. medium body and smooth. Decent

On nitro tap at St. Augustine's, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lots of black roasted coffee upfront, with medium sweetness. Flavour is loaded with espresso beans upfront, followed by medium sweetness and some dark chocolate. Nicely balanced, with a creamy mouthfeel. Very nice bold coffee stout.

Pretty good stuff. Not overly sweet, perfect amount of toastiness. Very easy drinking beer with only some booze at the end of the finish.

Creamy tan head in this black beer. Medium body that is silky smooth. Sweet malt profile with some light roasted notes and dry coffee grounds. A bit of hot booze. Brown sugar sweetness and coffee grounds in the finish with some alcohol. Pretty tasty. Nitro bottle.

Bottle: Ruby-black with a thin, creamy tan head. Roast coffee, smoky cherry, chocolate aroma. Creamy milk chocolate malt, malted milk balls, lightly bitter cherry malt taste. Solid, roasty coffee bean..... Very milky and slick finish....more sweet than bitter. Really nice.

Bomber from Wine Warehouse, $8.49 I believe. 10 hour work day with nonstop action... was going to not have beer today, but well, why would I do that? Pours black with a small tan head. Heavy sweet chocolate milk aroma... almost exactly like chocolate milk. Taste is sweet chocolates, bitter coffee beans, bitter chocolates, and hints of licorice. I think I made a good choice to not not drink beer today.
