Traditional British malts provide a rich, biscuity base with hints of caramel, while the Harlequin hops bring vibrant notes of passionfruit, peach, and a touch of pine. Earthy undertones and a balanced bitterness anchor this brew, delivering a refined yet adventurous take on a timeless style.

Very so so. Condition might be letting it down a bit. Some bready pale malt, vague citrus impressions, a little cereal, biscuit and hay. Maybe a nip of apple. Just about drinkable.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. Fourth of 7 festival beers tried on the night. This was the only one I didn't enjoy during my tasting session, found it weak and bland, everything all a bit too subtle compared to the beers around it. Scored objectively.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; fruity aroma; rich fruity malt taste but quite watery afterwards and lacking finish.
