[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A pale golden amber coloured pour with a close textured white head; orangey aroma; immediate bitter citrus taste, mainly orange, with a dry biscuity malt body; then some warming spice and tropical fruit in the finish. A satisfying pint.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. First of 7 festival beers tried on the night. Clean and clear light golden body, white crust. Tropical fruit nose and taste, aroma subtle the flavours just above that, it's fine and a decent start to the evening.

8/10/2025. Cask at wetherspoon beer festival, at Cricketers, Ipswich. Aroma is citrusy, orange, grapefruit, light tropical fruits, hint of passionfruit. Medium sweet, light bitterness, touch tart and drying. Light bodied, average carbonation. Good aroma. Not bad overall.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#7 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Clear golden with a glow, and a decent head. Sweet tropical fruits in both aroma and taste, married to a hoppy cask brew. It's session material just.
