2 month old can A: Clear pale gold with a short but lasting loose white head. S: Lemon lime citrus and floral notes over sandalwood and sugary wafer cookies. Low aroma overall. T: Brashly bitter with sharp notes of mint and other pungent herbs, some pine and a bit of lime. Woody malts and a pithy medicinal aftertaste. M: Drinks lighter than it is with strongish carbonation and a light stickiness. O: Not bad but some strong, unusual flavor notes needed getting used to.

Can from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Dark amber with an extremely thin head. Hoppy with a notable strength, a hint of fruit too.

Thicker viscous attractive appearance. Nice head. Mild sweet candy perfume aroma. Taste is big giant dull club on the tongue. So medicinal and mouth coating, almost like aged green grapefruit rinds mixed with handsoap. Nasty rude and so terribly on style. Ignore the numbers. I would say this is too far into the imperial IPA style, heheh. No lager lover in his right mind would get anywhere near this stuff. This certainly much more than the 6% listed here.

Pale golden coloured body with a tiny, white head. Aroma of very light hop pellet notes with some very mild malt and pretty much nothing at all. Light-bodied; Sharp hops up front fade to a cardboardie malt, some very light sugars and seemingly nothing worthwhile. Aftertaste shows some more of the hops, a hint of the earthy and mild malt and no sugars nor alcohol to speak of, just some light herbal flavours. Overall, a pretty bad IPA - with not much hop bitterness at all and more cardboard notes than anything else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle from a beer sampler pack on 01-March-2013 at a friend’s house in Odenton, Maryland.

Overripe orange, pineapple, grass nose, quite strong. Cloudy ochre, medium yellow head, nice lace. Less intense flavor of overripe oranges, with a strange chemical aspect.. Frothy and watery mouthfeel. Well balanced, but something isn’t quite right.

12 ounce bottle from Lowes Foods in Hickory, NC. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized frothy copper colored head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bitter floral hops with some resiny notes. The taste is floral, peppery and resiny hops. Some malty notes. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Nice beer.
