[Cask at the Hope Tap(JDW), Reading.] An amber pour with a ring of white head; hint of vanilla aroma; smooth and oily in the mouth with a syrupy malt taste; then a drier finish with some vanilla and warming spices.

Clear gold with a frothy white head and a sweet cereal malt aroma. Light to medium bodied, sweet cereal malt, a hint of spiced rum, some fruity notes and a bittersweet finish.

Cask handpull at Barrel Vault JDW St Pancras. 5.5% abv version. Clear amber version lasting white head. Odd rubber flavour. Some malt some spiced rum on the aroma. Its an odd beer. A we8rd flavour in it somewhere. OK condition and temperature. Fine with odd bits.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#1 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Golden with a small haze, but a bigger head. The spirit is strong in both aroma and taste, providing a decent sweetish flavour within quite a heavy-drinking texture.
