Our Danish friends at Stepping Stone are not only known for great beers, but also for using them to help refugees 🕊️ integrate into society. We actually owe Daniel a lot for helping us integrate from the edges of the beer scene to the spotlight — he invited us to his festival before even tasting our first beer. What a legend. This year, he invited us again, and StepByStep is our joint festival sipper: a light, clear pils at 4.9% ABV hopped with fresh varieties straight from the Pikimai hop farm. Wakatu and Motueka bring that signature Pacific aroma full of ripe honeydew melon, lime and a touch of apricot. Nothing extreme this time, just a beautifully aromatic, easy-drinking lager with all-night potential and a soft yet solid bitterness.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Unclear yellow coloured, medium sized white head, fruity and floral nose. Fruity, floral, light grassy and touch of grapes with dry bitterish finish. Two months old but the taste is still very fresh and enjoyable.

Thin bodied, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, low sweet, quite dry. Background malt. Lots of grassy, kinda dank, lemonish and zestish hops. Very easy drinking, tasty. Very good.

Keg at Craftbeer Solnični. Clear pale golden, small head. Grassy grape aroma. Dryish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Lovely grapey, grassy hops. Resinous bitter finish. Sharp, bordering to metallic.

Tap at Craftbeer Solniční. Almost clear golden-yellow body, thick off-white head. Lean aroma, floral, honeyish, NZ herbs. Lean, dry taste, quite minerally, bit salty even, floral, honeyish, low NZ herbs, low bitterness. Tasty, chuggable, props!
Rerate on can, 8.12.2025. Oh man, this is, even fresher, crispier, with better developed citric, white grape and herbal, bit minty notes. Raising by 0.2 here.
