Cask @ Winter Beer Festival, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury. Pours a light cloudy yellow. Presents a slightly sour tang with just a touch of coarse tannin dryness, its sweetness growing on you more as you work your way through. Ok.

17/2/14. On tap at the Belle Vue, High Wycombe, RB score 4/2/4/2/8 (2). Pale gold. Not very cloudy despite the name. Dry and rather sour. Little bit of spice, bit of rotten apple. Pretty rough around the edges. Not for me this one. 24/2/15. On tap at the Eldon Arms, Reading. RB score 5/2/7/3/13 Pale gold with a light haze - not as cloudy as the pump clip implied. Slight sourness up front, then apple juice and vanilla. Smooth and generally sweetish, but with a lightly drying finish. Quite long-lasting finish with a hint of pears. Not bad for a lowish abv cider - a decent introductory one, and certainly better than what I remember from my previous rate. Score given is the average of all rates.

Cloudy and very pale. Quite tart, sweet up front, not much apple or tannin, so a bit like an apple candy....funny character.
