Bottle. Delices and Caprices, Brussels. Had this a while. Clear, deep ruby red. Thick, dense, creamy, lasting, beige foam. Looks great. Nose has tangy vine fruits. Some balsamic vinegar. Some toffee malts. Taste is a little sour and vinous. Smooth mouthfeel, however. Tangy vine fruits to finish. Yeah. It looks good...

Bottle bought in Brussels in October 2016. Dark amber with a tan head. Sweetish with malt, some fruit, caramel and hints of marzipan. Some warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears dark brown with a small ring tan. Aroma of caramel, malt, raisins, overripe dark fruit and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thank you! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Dark brown, mocha bubbles. Nose is sweet varnish, freshly painted furniture, licorice, overly fizzy. Taste is fizzy, rotting fruit, spoiled strawberry, herbal, freshly painted furniture, excessive carbonation. No thanks.

Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, licht zoet met iets van caramel, drop, anijs. Een echt kerstbier.

Nice unclear amber color with a fine big tan head. Ok lacing on the glass. Powerful aroma with toffee, dried fruits, some spices and yeast. Not as high carbonation as expected. Not THAT sweet either. Ok complex flavor with toffee, dried fruits, some spices and yeast. Decent sipper.
