A pale gold bitter with a slight citrus taste. A good hop and malt balance gives way to a thirst quenching dry finish

Cask at the Agricultural, Penrith. Lightly hazed deep gold colour with a white head. Smoothish, sweetish, bland. A bit of dusty caramel, some digestive biscuit, some generic fruit. Really dull, but easy to drink I guess.

Handpull cask at the Watermill Inn, Ings. Light gold, clear with the tiniest ring of white head and a bit of lacing. Grain and grapefruit notes and well as some floral touches on the nose. Pleasant sweetish taste, more floral notes, some white grape. Fairly short finish with some bitter citrus peel on the aftertaste. Simple and decent.

On cask at Watermill, Ings - Pale yellow body, thin white top. Nose was lemon and melon, but struggled to pick anything else out as all I could smell was fresh batch of hops being mashed at the brewery at the back. Refreshing taste, crisp and dry at the end. Not bad.

Cask by handpump, half pint picked up at bar 3, NWAF ’13 and shared with Finn. Clear, yellow-gold body. Fragile lacework to the glass. Fruity aroma, dry. Taste of lemon and resin on a mid-sweet malty backbone. Fresh fruit bitter ending. Refreshing (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
