Cask at Pigs Ear. Clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, modest carbonation. Milky sweet carnation malts. Flaccid pine and watery citrus. A poor effort from Sureshot. Jesus!

Light brown with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft malt and floral hop aroma. Light bodied, like a mild, but with floral hop bitterness, sweet malt, even a little hint of treacle and a dry finish.

Gravity Cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.

Passable bitter ... expected more from Sureshot.

Lovely pour. Lightly sweet, some crunchy bitter leaves, a little dried leather, faint berry notes, earth, toasted grains. Decent balance. Drinks fine.
