Pours amber from the bottle. The thin, frothy white head lingers. Aroma is dominated by oak with lesser notes of bourbon and lesser still of pumpkin. Taste is mildly bittersweet, full of rich oak and vanilla with a dash of spice. No real trace of pumpkin. Body is medium, texture a bit watery at times, warm at the end. Overall a nice one and a refreshing change to have a barrel aged brew with a relatively modest ABV.

Bottled 355ml. -from Beergium. Amberish coloured, minimal white head, spicy pumpkin and whiff of wood in the nose. Sweet malty, spicy pumpkin, notes of oak bourbon barrel and touch of vanilla. Sweetish and spicy finish. Not the best I've tried but in any case interesting.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 1. Clear golden color, small off-white head. Aroma is apple juice mixed with herbs or spices. Flavor is actually nicer than I had expected. Some herbs / spices, sweetish, apple juice. Don’t get the bourbon. Quite balanced though. Not nearly as bad as I had expected, since I hate most pumpkin and spicy ales. Nice.
