Old school beer style brought into a brave new world. Gose with Mango, Passionfruit, Guava, Apricot, and Orange peel. A tropical delight with a smooth mouthfeel, perfectly balanced out by a refreshing tartness and hint of sea salt.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a tiny, rough, white head - looks very lifeless. Nose is mainly passionfruit. Thin, sweet body with hardly any carbonation. Some tropical fruit melange, but not really pleasant to be honest. Sloppy beyond belief. 230424

Pretty cloudy yellow blond beer, small irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, malty, cow fodder, a bit dirty, rotten fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sourish, very fruity, some tropical fruits, a bit of citrus, mango, papaya, passion fruits, peaches. Aftertaste: very fruity, a little metallic, mango, passion fruits, juicy, nice acidity, oranges, a little sweet.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before April 2024. Hazy, orangeish yellow with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, minimally sourish, quite fruity aroma of apricot, mango and guava. Gently sweet, minimally sourish, quite fruity taste of guava, mango and apricot, followed by a short, a bit tart, a little minerally-salty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant drink.

33cl Blik van ONP5. Troebel geeloranje kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, passievrucht, sinaasappel, wel redelijk hoog limo-gehalte, licht fris, iets zuur, toch ook wat wort, hint van zweetsokken. Lichte body. OK-ish.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 29A: base 23G - non alcoholic, additions mango, passionfruit, guava, apricot, orange). Can 33 cl - Batch VF2848 (BBF 15/03/23). AROMA: medium-high orange and mango followed by faint apricot. very low clean sourness in the background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and hazy with material in suspension. low white head with low retention. TASTE: medium-low orange flavour with slight apricot. faint to non-existant lactic presence. no salt detected. medium bitterness with an almost dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: interesting aroma but a bit monodimensional and without a detectable characteristic of a gose (clean sourness and saltiness).

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours opaque orange with a thin white head. Aromas of mixed tropical fruit and grapes. Taste is mango, pineapple, gooseberry. Faint saline lick in the fruity finish.
