Oily black with a short head. Aroma of boozy malt and dark fruit. Flavour is velvet chocolate, blackberries on a toasted malt base, long roast chocolate finish. Dense oily texture.

Bottle. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Fully malty, lots of chocolatey, moderate coffee, med-light toffee, caramel. Good, easy drinking, only light warmth. But I liked the malt character of Õhtu better. Good one.

From 330ml bottle on 18/12/2021, pours a deep deep brown with a light tan head. Has a big dark choc, dark fruit nose. Tastes of dark chocolate, dried fruit with a hint of licorice. Has a moderate tangy, dark fruit bitterness. A very good Baltic Porter.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a tan head that fades to the rim from a cm. Roasty aroma with blackberries, chocolate, fudge. Pretty much how it tastes. Somewhat vague palate but nice flavours. Bitterness struggles to escape the sweetness. Pretty good but nowhere near their best.

On tap at Tørst. Pours black with a dense tan head. Liquorice, coffee, blueberry, sweet milky coffee, cherry, toast, plum. Good full body. Good.

bottle. dark brown, brown head. strong aroma of choclate, coffee, toffee, resembles a dark dessert chocolate with toffee and coffee. flavor is basically a really nice porter, add some flavors like charred wood, vanilla, chocolate, dark caramel. flavor centers arond dark chocolate toffee, which i don't like so i also don't like the beer very much. apart from the chocolate its a fine porter though, i like the faint charred woody note. i think it is the dark burned carmel bitterness that makes me not like the beer. in my book this is hell no a top 50 beer. phjala has made many beers that taste way better than this one.

Bière pression bue au BerThom. Robe noire opaque, fin col de mousse sur 1mm, couleur café. Nez sur le malt torréfié, cacao, olive noire. Bouche à l'amertume moyenne, cacao, café, caramel, notes de résine et de réglisse. Corps dense, belle longueur, bonne carbo, bière dessert. Excellente bière ! (M)
