24oz canned 12/21/21, drunk 2/13/22. Clear, rosy/brassy-blonde. Small, feeble, white head. Very estery, lots of somewhat sharp apricot-marmalade with biscuits/grainy malts but otherwise clean. Low hop character, maybe a touch of wood and citrus. Grainy to lightly malty with lots of watery, sharp, yellow fruit character. Low hop character, dry. Kolschs are generally crisp/dry/grainy but this still needs more malt softness. No big flaws though. Fine in a pinch. Still reasonable malt character and light kolsch yeast notes.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Scottsdale, AZ. Pours a clear gold color with a large, thick white head and great retention. Spots of lacing. Souring malt aroma. Tastes like a pale lager to me. Clean and crisp with very little Kolsch characteristics. Light body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter.

Can. Has a bit of chill haze, and a darkish blonde colour, but not much head. On the nose, there's a bit of graininess, in that sourish macro sort of way. On the palate, a bit of sweet pale malt right up front, light bitterness, and then just a light fruitiness. Wouldn't say there's anything kolsch-like about it, more like a craft version of a macro lager.

A blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, decent. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with fruity esters, not bad. On tap at brewery.
