Bottle. Kernel advent box. Misted beetroot red. No head. Cherry pit and flesh. Light yeasty notes. Taste has a flicker of sweetness but is mostly semi dry and lightly tart. Drinks well with just a touch of acidity. Dry-ish and quenching finish.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear ruby body with a thin pale pink head. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of cherry, cranberry and funky yeast. Flavour of raspberry, sour cherry and bitter lemon. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. Tart and funky. Very nice.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Unsurprisingly lots of red cherries in the aroma, some raspberry jam, cranberry. Tart jammy mix of the above. Dry sour finish.

On tap at Kernel Bar Bermondsey. Dark red colour thin pink head. Lots of cherry. Some sourness but mostly likeable cherry. Yep decent fruit beer.

Beetroot red topped with a crimson cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is big on sharp cherries, herb, damp straw, light barnyard twang.
Taste comprises pulped cherries, acidic lick, herb, damp oak, funk, hay bale, cherry stones.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering schmack.
Solid kit.

1/3 pint @ Kernel taproom.
Couleur pourpre, col fin rosé-acajou.
Arôme est frais et excellent au niveau de l'usage des cerises. Léger retrait de grains-base de saison avec pointe de funk.
Palais est profond sur les cerises, franchement bien équilibré avec une sensation de fruits noirs et une belle base de saison en support. Le tout garde une petite touche note de funk presque de brett.
Intéressant de déguster cette dernière en parallèle avec la version Montmorency et de voir comment une variété impact chaque version.
