A well rounded India Pale Ale brewed to create a complex malty taste with fruity flavor and aroma from the English yeast. Hop character includes a spicy herbal & earthy bitterness typical of the style. To finish it is dry hopped with Cascade for a floral citrus hop aroma. Like a hike up Camelback it will leave a lasting impression.

Old notes from Nov 2014 - Brought back by my wife from a recent visit to Phoenix. It pours a hazy amber colour with a white head. Aromas of citrus & floral hops. Taste of sweet orange marmalade & citrus hops bitterness. Good enough that I'd have a second bottle given the chance.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden with a small white head. Fairly soft with malt, hops, citrus and some caramel. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Has a light bitterness, some fruity hop character. and there’s some caramel notes as well, honestly not super integrated with the hop. Splash of alcohol late.

On tap at Phoenix Ale Brewery, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out harsh metallic notes and some abrasive hoppy astringency. Flavour isn't as abrasive, with light metallic notes and a dry, fruity hoppiness. Not the most dynamic IPA out there, that's for sure, but pleasant enough. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Ben and Liz! Pours a clear amber orange with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and earthy grass with a touch of sweetness underlying. Flavor bread and grains notes with earthy grass underlying.

A hazed orange amber ale with a thin creamy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, smooth herbaceous biscuit malt with solvent notes, light floral hops. In mouth, a sweet fruity biscuit malt with oily mouth feel, light esters, grassy hops, OK. On tap at Angel?s Trumpet.

Bottle at Hilton Phoenix. Pours a hazy dark caramel with minimal white head. Nose slightly grassy. Grapefruit and caramel with a metallic bitterness. Strange balance of flavours.

pretty average IPA. Distinct in it’s slight malt notes. Nothing overly complex in this beer, but not bad
