Bottle that Jude and Baz picked up directly from Pōhjala brewery in Tallin. Had this, shared with Baz 26th February 2026 at Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire we (mostly Loz) made Pizza for everyone, I just assisted. Pours dark brown with a filmy head. Lovely mouthfeel, there's a little spiciness but super easy drinking. Light chocolate and light spiciness throughout. Good. Score 7.6

From tap @ Beerdock. Head is medium, tanned, average retention. Colour is dark, opaque. Aroma is roasted tones, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, dark bread. Taste is full malty base, light cocoa, milk chocolate, coffee, dark dried fruits, spicy, bit vinous, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, very good, enjoyed for sure.

Draught at Monk's: pours black with beige head. Aroma is molasses and loads of milk and dark chocolate. Nody is fairly light, but still a little creamy. Taste is on the sweet side but hardly cloying.

Tap at Bar Oorlam. Black, dark tan cream. Rich praline chocolate base. Light jam in the aroma, smoke, cocoa, coffee, fullbodied, fat, quite drinkable though, perfect winter warmer.

Weicher, brotig-schokoladiger Antrunk bei überraschend schwacher Süße. Würzig, zunehemend schokoladig, alkoholische Tendenzen, etwas Kakao, mittellanger Abgang. 10/12/11/12/9/11
