Gulbrun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter lyst brød, smør og noe stikkelsbær. Lett. Smaker strå, noe blomster, smør og noe sitrusbitterhet i avslutningen. Kort.

15th December 2022, part of a flight at the Waikiki Lahaina Brewpub. Clear golden blonde with a white head. Not a lot going on really, mild citrus nose and flavour, some pale malty sweetness and that's about it.

Super pale, and ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a rich, relatively thick pure white head, about two centimetres tall that stays afloat nicely, surprisingly. Aroma of rice, grain, light lemons and some very soft soapy hops, in the nose at least. Light-bodied; Soft rice and funky grainy malts show at first with only a sliver of hops here and more soapy and funky cardboardie flavours noticeable. Aftertaste has a bit of a lemon kick along with some grainy notes, a bit of herbal aspects and some flowers at the finish without any bitterness and no richness at all, which is okay. Overall, a pretty poor beer, but perhaps nice enough on a hot Hawaiian day, but even then, I'd prefer some more flavours with a wheat beer, but this is nice enough for the style, but showing too much cardboard and funkiness in the grain bill for me. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from the Island Gourmet Market (ABC Store, but fancier) in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii on 12-April-2022 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii while on Spring Break with my wife and Kids on 15-April-2022.

The aromas are yeast, citrus and a little spice backed with suggestions of malt. The flavors are somewhat similar to nose with citrus standing out with a little sweet enhanced by very strong carbonation up front and a lingering bitterness in the Finish.
