Sample at The Market - Italian Village. The beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium thin fizzy white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart citrus and berries, herbal yeast and subtly smoked malt. The finish is mildly tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/7/2017. Pours slightly hazy bright golden yellow color with a small dense white head with decent retention, that reduces to a ring of lace the lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart lemon, lime, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, light smoke, hay, straw, herbal, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt/spice, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart lemon, lime, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, light smoke, hay, straw, herbal, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/earthy tartness and light spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, light smoke, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt/spice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from acidity. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, balanced acidic/saline, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice gose style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt/spice, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Stamp on camp reads 2017- 7- 10. Hazy gold color, little to no head at all. Aroma is yogurt, funky lemon juice, and sea salt.
The flavor has a yogurt flavor through the center, a squirt of tart lemon juice, with a note of coriander seed. It ends salty with a trace of smoke. Body is medium in texture with some bread notes. Interesting, not my favorite but true to style.
