Bottled. A golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brettanomyces, and fruit. The flavor is sour with notes of malt, alcohol, caramel, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish.

sampled @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Pours unclear blonde, no real head. Smell is more dirty than the Jerez version. Taste is sharp, sour, dirt , oak, mild funk. Enjoyed the Jerez much more.

(Thx!) 375 ml. bottle sampled @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Sampled side-by-side with Sherry Jerez one. Drank as “Venencia Sherry Beer”. Same as this one, I assume. Darker one, orange with no head. Nose is hugely milky, lactic buttery, popcorn lambiek, reminiscent of lesser unblended Girardin. Taste is watery lemon, butter popcorn, spoiled butter, watery, lemon, dull,… Watery unblended lambiek body. Too buttery, spoiled lambiek,… Reminscent of a weaker Girardin,… Expensive stuff looking at that one, passable but not too crazy about that one.

Bottled@CBC2015. Golden colour with no head at all. Aroma is farmyard, some yeast, spices, wood, apple skins, mild sherry and also some slight herbal notes. Flavour is sour wood, bready malts, some yeast, spices, herbs and earth with a nice almost lactic tone to it. Wellbalanced, but a bit "raw" compared to the Mad Old Lambic BA Sherry Jerez.
