Beginning as a traditional German-style Berliner Weisse, it is conditioned on sour cherries to provide hints of fruit flavors. This is a refreshing wheat ale with a slightly tart finish.

Hazy golden and light copper coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of light cherries, a funky yeast, some brett and spontaneous fermentation notes along with a dose of lactose and caster sugar. Light-bodied; Very funky fake sugar sweetness with splenda and equal noticeable along with a dose of very mild and fake tasting cherries, really just the juice along with an odd wheat flavour and just about nothing else. Aftertaste shows the funk, a lot of lactose and pure caster sugars and very little else. Overall, a pretty big waste of a beer with nothing good coming out of this, perhaps some mild cherry notes and a relativly smooth flavour, but nothing great and no real beer for this style at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 03-December-2016 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 16-June-2017.

Bottle. Pinkish hazy yellow with small foamy whitish head, faint honey aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with sour cherry aroma, thin body, abrupt finish with cherry aftertaste, refreshing brew.

Draft @ Winberie’s, Princeton NJ. Tulip shows a hazy golden color with a pink hue. Aroma is sour wheat, lactic acid, and mild Cherry skin.

The cherry in the flavor almost doesn’t exist. I get mild lemon juice, sour wheat and a light grainy texture. Body is watery and thin. Slightly sour but just a weak performance all the way around. This need some improvement.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly creamy head, a but hazy lightish orange color, aroma of artificial cherry, honey with a malty hint, red fruit flavor, lightly tart but not enough. Not lactic and not good, can hardly be called a Berliner Weisse.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy yellow. Aroma of pickled vegeables, graininess, a bit of honey, a bit of artificial cherry. Sweetish and mildly tart flavor, with honey, graininess, pickled vegetables, a bit of artificial cherry. Light-bodied. Disappointing.

A hazed murky yellow Weisse with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet lemony malt with light grassy notes, light acidity, boring. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with faint cherry notes, light acidity, light mineral notes, boring. On tap at Beer Authority NYC.

Draft at Barcade, 8/22/15. Cloudy orange color. Fruity and a little tart. Fizzy feel. Light and refreshing, though not overly exciting. Drinkable and passable.
