A slightly stronger and more heavily-hopped saison recipe, brewed with spelt wheat and a pairing of Australian Enigma and New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. Juicy white grape and tropical fruit star in the bright and zesty modern beer.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Mild minerals. Light malts. A little floral sweetness. Prominent sweet bubblegum esters. Mild herb, orange and orange peel. Estery sweet dry finish. Quite estery but fine.

Keg at the brewery tap room. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is pithy lemon, floral orange, nice saison yeast. Flavour is composed of spicy citrus floral, saison yeast esters, some hay and straw. Pithy orange in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp finish, moderate carbonation. Good

Keg at BBNo. It pours hazy gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, orange sherbet, candied peel, bread, earth, cereal, nougat and light spice. The taste is bitter, earth, spicy, drying, citrus peel, straw, cereal, grassy and light astringency with a dry sort of spicy finish. Medium body and moderate foamy carbonation. A touch dry, but enjoyable.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice citrus and saison yeast in the nose, melon, tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavour, pleasantly juicy, with a lick of grass, orange rind, more melon, pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a little resin, some hay, more melon and tangerine, citrus rind, light yeast expression, wheat bread. Lovely stuff.
