Bottle at Kernel Bar Bermondsey. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Well its superb. Light citrus hoppy aroma. A touch of dank but nothing off putting. The flavour is stunning. Some tropical fruit some pineapple somw grapefruit some gooseberry. Pretty much a perfect ipa. It sings. Delicious

Tropical fruity with hints of peachy orange candies, hints of malts, pine, citrus, grapefruit and floral grassiness, mild bitterness. Crushable.

Bottle at home picked up from Kernel taproom. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is semi sweet, juicy fruits, orange blossom, tangerine, peach melba, rounded grains, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, juicy fruits, peach , floral orange, semi sweet, rustic grains, Very crushable. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation, Lovely.

Tap at Winter Affair 2026. Hazy yellowish body, white head. Slightly rubbery aroma, tropical fruit and some stone fruit. Lean, dry, bitter taste, rubbery, mostly pineapple-driven, less rich than in the taste... the astringency in the finish kinda indicated this wasn't the best way to drink it. By all means a good beer, but one heavily overshadowed by others at the fest, which surprised me.

Tap at Zichovec Winter Affair 2026. A bit sourish from the hops, but mostly bitter, hoppy, leafy, piney, a bit zesty citrusy. GBNG.

Wow that’s good. Reminds me of the very best out of VT. A little dank, a bit tropical, supportingly bitter. Some tangerine, peach, pee, rind, background pale malts. Moreish. Balanced bittersweet finish. Superb.

Holy fucking bollocks I’ll try a third fucking time then. Fucking fuck off. Bottle. Kernel advent box. Hazed gold. Could have been mostly clear but I tipped all the shit in. Beautiful Kernel swede. Nose has an unreal medley of pineapple flesh and skin. Proper dank leafy sweaty Simcoe. Juicy slightly overripe orange and sweet grapefruit. Even a bit of soggy stone fruit for good measure. Taste has some fleeting sweetness getting robust pithy piny bitter. Creamy and good drinking. Bitter finish lingers nicely. Pretty stunning overall.
