Century Ale is golden in color and has aromas of toasted crackers, passion fruit and citrus. The flavor suggests complex notes of biscuit and fruit followed by a dry, slightly tart finish. We brew this beer with Pilsner, raw wheat and Biscuit malt. It is then fermented for 1 year in stainless steel with a blend of a traditional Saison yeast and Brettanomyces. Prior to bottling, we dry hop with a blend of German and American experimental hops. Please enjoy this beer fresh.

Bottle, cool and old find from JBPortland before Allagash started to show up here in distro!. Pours opaque golden, small white head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is Brett, oak, musty backyards. Flavor is dry, light lemon, must. Light body. I totally fucked the pony on the "this beer should be consumed fresh" bit there, but its still pretty solid.

0.375l corked bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This one has a cloudy, or perhaps more blurry golden colored body with a small islandy and kinda shattered white filmy head. Like the aroma. Bretty, gooseberries. Lots of Brett actually. Elderflower, some peach sweetness. Like it. Tastes really good. It has a almost growing carbonation level wrapped inside a nice oily texture. More peachy fruity elements. It's definitely up-bretted and quite on the tasty side. A hint of both apple and canned pear. A sourish hint. Lots and of flavor, and I really enjoyed this one. 04.08.2016

Level 42 Bottle share. Thanks to Colin. Hazy paleish gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light sourness. Mild lemon segues in to a floral mid. Bitterish seltzer. Light dry finish. It’s all right.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Cloin. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a slender, foamy white head. Nice aroma with moderate farmhouse yeast expression, rindy lemon, hay stacks. Light sweet flavor with subtle acidity, mild bitter straw, more lemony notes. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with some lemon peel, light acidity, slight bitter hay, more farmy yeast. Great beer.
