Clear and golden coloured body with a large, soapy, pure white head, about three to four centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, hay, light earth, some softer and subdued malt components which show some mild coriander seed freshness and a bit more of a floral vibe, but little else in terms of other types of scents. Light-bodied; Strong dry and grassy flavours show at first with a nice yeast and bready note and some softer citrus and pure lemon flavours that add some twang to the grassy and herbal characteristics. Aftertaste shows the dry character with a lot of herbal and grassy flavours, some mild citrus flavours and a dash of a coriander seed spice quality at the very end that makes this even more soft and rounded. Overall, a nice and dry beer throughout with a good amount of character and quality for such a mild beer. I sampled this stubby, twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 25-November-2016 sampled on 19-May-2017 in my hotel room in Orlando, Florida on Vacation.

Nothing wrong with a petite saison, except Puck seems only remarkable in its petite-ness. Lemon-tart yeast notes sit atop a grassy sweetness backed up by mild banana-clove and a brisk, white bread finish. Not sure what the dry-hopping added--there's no bitterness except for the faintest hint of grass and flowers on the fade--but this beer's mostly about the tart front, almost Berliner Weiss-like in its easygoing acidity. Hyper-carbonated texture seems almost too bubbly, even for a farmhouse beer. Wet carboard and hay nose isn't exactly appealing. Pretty, but most saisons are. Easy to find better.

T42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Light haze on this paleiish gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is soft and dry and has modest fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Very light and dry floralness. Light lemony citrus. Light dry finish. The lemon saves an otherwise dull beer.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear, mighty pale yellow with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds dry pale bread, a little lemon, hay. Light-medium sweet flavour with some papery notes, crackers, straw, old wheat. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish but still somewhat denying, with more simple, dry wheat character, mellow bitter straw, pale grains. So so.

Bottle split at Happy New Years L42 Shim Sham, thanks to Fergoose, 12/01/17. Golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric rinds, pale malts, bread, lemon drizzle, sweet and sour notes. Taste comprises light yeast esters, lemon rind, straw, grains, light bread, farmyard. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Adequate style box ticking saison but nothing to revisit.

Bottle thanks to Fergus at level 42. It pours clear yellow - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, straw, cereal, light grainy vibe, hay and not much else. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, clean, straw, green apple skin, straw, chewy, chalky and pithy lemon with a dry finish. Light - medium body and average carbonation. Not a whole lot going on.
