Cask at Pigs Ear. Murky dark gold beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Ripe stodgy malts, ripe creamy sweetness. Ripe hops, soft pine, some skunk. A little ripe citrus. Airy semi dry finish. Flaccid and ripe and a tough to drink affair.

On tap at Low Key Taproom Ashford. Cloudy amber colour lasting off white head. Yes pine resin aroma. Some toffee flavour then a decent bitterness on the finish. Its a decent west coast pale ale. Good bitterness on the finish.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath. Nose is apricot jam, orange marmalade, peach. Earthy bitter flavours. Malty bitter finish. This would definitely work better on cask.

Gravity Cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Murky marmalade orange looker topped with an off white cap that veers to the edge ... not very WC looking!
Nose is orange peel, sweet edged, mandarin.
Taste comprises pineapple chunks, soft malts, sweet fruit syrup notes, orange peel.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow juicy hop bitterness.
A touch sweet and flabby, not very WC like and not up to the usual output of this brewery.
