Can.

A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head.

A- Malt, biscuit, mild smoke.

F- Malt, mineral, mild smoke, grains, corn husk.

T- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.

O- Really tasty and very crushable. Smoke is absolutely there but not meaty and not the only noticeable aspect, it's relatively mild actually. A nice smoked mineral seltzer water trait if you will. Enjoyed this one.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has mineraly notes, light smoke, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty timid on the smoke, with mineraly notes and toasted biscuity malt. Very seltzery palate. You gotta do more smoke than this to be convincing as a grod. It’s alright.

16oz can from Tavour. Very pale golden pour, clear, film of fine white bubbles. Aroma is a light, smoky, ashy character. Taste is smoky, bacon, mild sweetness, bready. Really enjoyable.

Dullish straw, nice smoky nose. Medium body, medium smoke, light acidity. Some huskiness, gloppy malts. Still, a grod is always nice.

Date has been smudged/is illegible. Can drunk 1/22/26 as pictured.
Well that sure smells insane to me...intense, honey-like maltiness with excellent dry, woody smoke. No bacon here, per the style, and the smoke doesn't dominate, but adds great aromatics and complexity, as mildly floral/herbal hops and a lemony acidity help balance. Clean and lush.
Rich and malty with dry, crusty, chewy wheat and a lovely, not-overdone smokiness that shows the dry wood character. Very carbonated at first but it makes it incredibly refreshing and the malt body, which is very, very well-done for such a low gravity, holds up nicely. Nicely balanced, integrated flavors with a bit of everything contributing here. Incredibly drinkable and flavorful.

Can from Tavour. Pours light translucent gold with a moderate creamy white head. Smoke for aroma. Near med body then turned thin. Light smoke for flavor. Hop might be floral. Fairly dry, more smoky than bitter. Good beer.
