can. solid beer. For an DIPA, was on the mild side - still very good, just not a WOW DIPA

Pours a coppery amber from a can. Big citrus notes in the nose, similar flavor, not specifically blood orange, more grapefruit and lemon. Maybe citron. Good beer.

12oz can pours a bright orange with some bright white head. Nose has orange peel, heavy pith, yeast, soap, herbs. Flavor is heavy with orange and orange pith, soap, herbs. Bitter, pithy finish. One note.

Nice crisp amber and copper body with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma oranges, citrus, grapefruit and a bit of alcohol/metal. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich citrus and pefumey flavour with a lot of alcohol and warmth, showing grass, metal and bitterness from both the fruit and the hops. Aftertaste shows a lot of metal, hops, earth, alcohol and a ton of bitter citrus fruit as well. Overall, a nice and rich beer full of hops, citrus, pine, alcohol and yes - citrus. Nice to try and well worth finding if you like citrus and IPAs! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 28-March-2015 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 06-August-2016 a day before leaving back for Hawaii!

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy deep golden. Aroma of kinda stale hops, some citrus, some candy-ish malt, and a soapy note. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, a honey note, biter stale hops, and nice citrus. Medium-bodied.

Can. Amber with a modest white head. A few floaties. Easy to believe there’s actual citrus juice and zest as well as hops in there from the aroma, but there’s some bread and herbal notes as well. Lots of grapefruit and blood orange with a real pithiness to it. Light bread, slight toast, herbal or leafy lemon, menthol. Bitterness is strong: enough to stop it seeming fruit saladish. Maybe edging up on harsh but that’s probably where it needs to be. Fun to drink, slips down dangerously easily.

Poured from 355mL can. Dark orangey brown with off-white head, tiny bit of sediment. Bread malt, bitter citrus from the blood orange, mild resin. It is what it is.

12oz can pours with a copper body that has a bit of a haze to it and supporting a thin off white head. The modest aroma offers up some pine hops and then thin layers of mango and earthy hoppiness. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of pine hops, earthy herbal hoppiness, candied mango and pineapple and then some bitter grapefruit to midway. Amid all of those flavors it gets a bit earthy tea like and then more into resiny hops as the finish approaches. Solid as this maintains a nice tropical fruitiness with some floral hops poking out now and then.
