Loosely inspired by a recipe dating from 1957, expect a satisfyingly smooth and well balanced beer - malt-forward with a rich dried fruit character and a gentle bitterness in the finish.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Mostly clear pale coppery brown. Sturdy off white foam stays the course. Looks well. Nose has light sweet caramel. Some hedgerow fruit. Light leafy hop. Taste is semi sweet with a hint of hedgerow fruit bitterness. Pretty smooth overall with decent body at the ABV. Light sweet light bitter finish with a touch of dryness to finish. Nice.
