We've been dreaming of this brew for years! A beer so thick with sea buckthorn puree, it blurs the line between liquid and solid. With our friends at Solo, we finally made it happen!

Double Hippophaes Nectar is raw, dense and packed with wild energy. Unfiltered and electric, it's more than a beer, it's a citrus-charged dive into tart intensity. Each sip coats your tongue like golden nectar, bursting with apricot, lime zest and dried pineapple. The acidity is bold, the finish sharp and mineral. It's not for the faint of heart!

Can. Opaque passion fruit orange juice smoothie. Forgot the name of the fruit but it's actually in the nose, together with some rather intense "orange juice". Front heavy, salty, sparkly, bitter, then a tad thin.

Can. Milky golden fruit nectar. Light sulphur, chives in the aroma besides the sanddorn, light wood, light salt. Dry seaweed finish.

Can courtesy of Kostas, Kykao brewery, cheers Kostas. Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Kelly Lee Owens - Dreamstate. Pours like a Robinson's Barley Water, a drink that used to be a staple of every Wimbledon tennis tournament for many, many years. Like last time (regular not double version) I pick up a little bit of cape gooseberry, but also eggy (Burton Snatch). As Jonas mentions a little brine, it's slightly better than I was expecting. Score 6.8

Can, MH 2026, thx Fin & Loz for sharing! Murky golden, no head. Hugely pungent aroma - typical weird sea buckthorn tart berry & lightly fermented olive aroma. Funky berry taste, sulfur, not much sourness, mildly funky, light citrus fruit vibes. I mean, decent, but can't say I'm a huge fan of sea buckthorn.
