The resulting product is a stout that is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, featuring the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee

Can at the Abbey in Brookline, 3/14/26.
Roasty, lightly chocolatey. Light fruitiness.
Tastes like Guinness but sweeter. Can't really speak to how well this approximates the real thing, but as an NA beer it's done well. On the sweeter side but not thin, thank God. Chocolatey, lightly toasty with a reasonable attempt at bitterness to balance.

440m can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Frau Eva on a Friday afternoon. Black in the glass, creamy off-white head blanketing the glassware. Inviting roasted malty smell. Tasted alright with creamy dark malts added a note of coffee. Short roasted tail. A well made and tasty non-alcoholic beer. (Tromsø, 13.02.2026).

Guinness 0 draught can from Busch's. Pours a deep brown with finger of beige, creamy foam that lingers. Looks like a Guinness for sure. Some nutty aromas with soy sauce and umami as it warms. Palate is very similar with soy sauce and faint chocolate notes. Smooth finish. Not bad.

440 ml nitro can, alcohol free stout, from a grocery store in Brighton, consumed at home. Black colour, moderate but nice and creamy nitro head of good retention. Malty and roasty aroma and flavour, surprisingly similar to the "ordinary" Guinness Draught. Well, not identical, of course, but more than good enough when you need a n/a alternative.

Can at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. It's black with a thick, lasting creamy head - if anything, it looks evrn better than regular Guinness. The taste though is definitely different to regular Guinness - in place of the usual dry coffee and smoke there was a semi-sweet combo of berries and cocoa that was rather tasty. The only downside is with the mouthfeel - somehow they've avoided the thin-ness that plagues most AF brews, but however they've done it has made the beer a little gloopy in the mouth. Fortunately that did not detract too much from my enjoyment of it. In fact, it's possibly the best AF beer I've had, and is equally as enjoyable as the regular Guinness (despite tasting very different to it). Nice one!

This is very classic Guinness. Dark pour with that creamy tan head that sits perfectly on top. I don’t agree with the people that say it’s indistinguishable from Guinness Draught because this is noticeably sweeter. But the profile is very similar with light roasted malts, chocolate, a touch sour. The sweetness is the differentiation. This is my go-to NA beer.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 23/02/2025) in a Bella Coola hotel room from the grocery store. Clear dark brown with slowly dissipating nitro widget pour and nice light beige head. Mild watery sweet roast malt with an feint odd artificial flavouring note. Thin bodied, but okay non-alc stout.
