Perfectly acceptable. Restrained hop character, some tangerine, rindy orange, a suggestion of grapefruit and pine. Mildly bready, some sun-kissed pale mats, nips of caramel. Fine condition.

A very pleasant Red Ale from the legendary Hook Norton Brewery. Sampled on draught at JDW Mossy Well. A nice malty base with notes grapefruit and pine. Distinctive Red Ale flavour - a hint of rye in the malt flavour? I may be mistaken …A very easy drinking, great tasting beer. Highly recommended.

Cask handpull at Willow Walk JDW Victoria
. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Its a tasty malty bread best bitter. Malts are soft brown wholemeal bread. Not much bitterness. Andrew C would say it has a malt cushion. Decent enough. Good condition good temperature. Good malty best bitter with enough bitter finish to make it interesting.
