Bottle. Sharp lactic caramel malt aroma. Dark amber with small head. Light sweet-sour milk caramel malt and lightly bitter dry grass flavor. As good as I thought it would be.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a glossy somewhat dark red color with a one finger bubbly white head. There was some indifferent messy lacing stringing itself all over the place.
The smell had a burnt / somewhat dirt-like weird caramel maltiness.
The taste was basically the same with a super dry weird somewhat sweet maltiness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it - depending upon how one looks at this. The carbonation was there and good for the style and for me.
Overall, decent beer nothing to go bonkers about. Just okay.

Malty and kind of trashy. A little on the sweet side. Pours dark amber without much head or lacing. Sweet finish, and some sourness. Bottle.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber beer with a dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma has caramel, some alcohol notes and a touch of dried fruits. It’s lightly sweet on the palate, full to medium bodied and quite soft. Caramel, some dried fruits and a little bitterness in the flavor, mostly sweet in the finish. Certainly not interesting this one, but not bad either. 130810

11.2 oz bottle. Poured a soda-brown color with a large off-white head. Aroma was sweet malt caramels. Flavor was about the same - pretty uninspiring, but cheap and on par with what you’d expect from a "Mexican lager."

Dark brown. Caramel aroma and some in the flavor, with a chemical dryness on the palate. Not especially drinkable, but it is ok. Light palate. Light brown color.

11.2 fl oz (didn’t notice that!) twist off bottle purchased at the Trader Joe’s in Kansas City, Missouri. Best before 100612AFL 08:19 (huh - I assume best before Oct 6, 2010) printed on the bottle. Pour is a darker copper, with a ton of effervescent bubbles rising up to form a noisy light tan head. One inch head falls quickly, with very little lacing. The aroma is quite faint, what is there is nutty malt, slight sweetness and a whisper of grass. The taste is the lightly nutty malt, followed by a bit of an industrial chemical sweetness, finishing with some general sweetness, and some of the dry grass hay from the nose. The palate initially is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation levels and a lingering malt sweet finish. As it warms, this really thins out. This was mostly clean, pretty easy drinking and inoffensive.
