0.75 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', 2015 vintage, cellared for almost four years. Clear, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, rather fruity and gently funky aroma of old lemon, rhubarb, horse blanket, some oak and a touch of leather. Quite sour, fairly fruity, gently funky taste of lemon, rhubarb, oak, leather and some horse blanket, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, woody-dry and gently funky finish. Medium body, quite astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. A little too acidic for my liking, apart from that a nice Colonia Wild Ale.

Bottle, shared @ Potjepalooza. hazy orange/light amber with a white head. aroma of sour, wood, apricot, peach. taste has a lot of strong acidic and funkyness, fruity, sour sweets, fpretty sweet, apricots and peach weak body, well this one was ok.

Sample, leftover from a bottle, shared at Potjepalooza, the day after. Hazy golden color. Aroma’s: funky, sourish, a bit moldy. Retronasal it’s sourish, dusty, light woody. Flavor is sour, a bit lactic. Light bodied. Flavor lingers.

75cl Bottle sample at Potjepalooza. Murky golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, acid, light funk, sour peach. Flavour is quite acidic, sour, lemons, sour peach, yeast, tart finish. Light bodied. Nice.

Bottle shared at Potjepalooza. Very hazy golden orange with a ring white head. Aroma of tart light fruits, pretty lactic, tart peach, citrus, damp cellar funk and light mould. Flavour is light heavy sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
