Hazy, pale yellow in colour, with an abundant white head. The aroma is delicate; a mild, sweet note of ripe stone fruit blends with a more distinct citrus scent. Medium-to-full bodied, with gentle carbonation that creates a pleasant foam in the mouth; the finish is rather dry. The taste is also delicate, featuring pleasant malty sweetness and a strong influence from the oats and wheat. Tasty, although not fitting the name.

Picked up from Morrisons and drunk cold and thoroughly enjoyed. Remarkably drinkable for a NE IPA.

Getting notes of pineapple and honeydew melon, grass, some grapefruit and a splash of lemon, semi sweet malty backing, balanced light bitter hoppy finish. Tasty and easy drinking supermarket find.

The oldest known pentacles had no association with the number five. Hazy golden coloured brew, which does have an association with sweet tropical fruit, notes of which and a hint of pine characterise this beer, which feels a little overwhelming for it at first, but gets more settled as you sip.
