Single from Appalachian. I think this is old.
Pint glass at home. Slight foam over in the can.
Strong off-white head. Slightly jellied Vienna body.
Deep caramel, nougat-y nose.
Sweet nougat, grainy, subtle raisin oxidation, thin, half-flat.
Meh.

Draft at Duckworth's. Pours a clear amber with a small bit of off-white foam that dissipates. Lovely bready malt aromas with some light peppery aromas as it warms. Smooth and clean, toasted malt, bready flavors and light peppery hops on the finish. A nice toasty lager.

Bottle from Swing Bridge Beer & Wine, Surf City, North Carolina. Darker amber with a carbonation and no head. Very sweet lager, with a dense drinking texture.

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is breadish and slight roasted malty. Toasted breadish to caramelish malty. Bitter and dry malty finish.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Thanks to my friend Mike for the bottle. Labeled as Bavarian Amber Lager. Clear dark amber with just over a finger of off-white head. Aromas of malt, dark fruit, toasty notes, biscuit, some citrus. Tastes of toasty notes, biscuit, malt, some caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Sweet and malty.

Location: Draft at CLT, 1/15/15
Aroma: Light caramel malt aroma, earthy notes, there is not a ton more than that here
Appearance: It pours a darker orange color, with a clear, small head, and basically no lacing
Flavor: It is pretty similar flavor-wise, malty and kinda sweet, with a mild bitterness
Palate: It has a decent feel to it, a light-medium body, and a fairly lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I don’t have a ton to add to the overall. It’s an okay lager, but not a particularly great one.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a red-caramel color with a medium sized creamy off white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was very faint, a touch malty and had a bit of fruity hops. The flavor was sweetish caramel and dark fruits. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Pleasant.

A reddish amber lager with a thin moka head. Strong aroma of caramel and stewed prunes, light chalky notes. In mouth, a cloying sweet malt with almost no hops, some mineral notes, light and boring. On tap at Clarion Greensboro Airport, 28 August 2010.
