Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is resinous hops with malt, grapefruit, caramel, lightly candied fruit, orange, lychee, tangerine touch of bubblegum hop. Flavour is fairly sweet with a good bitterness. Body is medium. I didn't realise that Hüll Melon was capable of yielding such a resinous hop profile. I like this.

Bottled. Ambery golden colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is fruity, some floral, mild alcohol tones with some gooseberries and a bit rowanberries too. Flavour is sweet malts, resin, gooseberries, some honey melon and mild herbal tones to it. sin. Interesting combination of fruityness and bitterness. Hüll Melon is another exiciting new German hop variety.

33cl Bottle. Orange-amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, resin, floral, light soapy. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, resin, floral, light soapy hop, hint of lavender, light fruity, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Tasty old-skool IPA.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma is cheesy hops, resinous, caramel. Taste is cheesy, caramel, earthy, heavy on the herbal side, but well-balanced. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Quite tasty, although it tastes a bit like old hops (despite the BB date being quite far in the future).

From the bottle. Rather orange looking with a frothy white head. Aroma is a mix of fruits and bubblegum with noticeable honey melon on the fruit side. Taste is quite bitter from start to finish. A hint of bubblegum sweetness lingers afterwards. Body is medium, smooth. Good.

Bottle (2017) at Festival der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of spicy hops, herbal notes and light tropical fruits behind, subtle melon hiding in there. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at FdB Köln 2017, 2017 version. Slightly hazy, dark amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange jam and some pine. Quite sweet, malty, rather fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, orange jam, honey and some pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny and a bit dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
