Can from NB Liquor. Clear pale gold with a small short lived white head. Nose is blueberry with very light toffee and grain. Flavour is light+ sweet with a slight tartness. Mouth is medium- and slick with soft carbonation and a short crisp finish. Might be good on a hot day. 7-/2+/6/3/11

Une Ale très ordinaire aromatisée aux bleuets... La note de passage, sans plus.

Pours blonde. Actually some lacing. Smells a little of blueberry. Some crisp malt. Finishes with light astringency, cloying. Sours on the long term aftertaste. Tall can.

Originally rated February 2006. Thanks to Plug for bringing this one back directly from the brewpub. Pours a slight hazy golden pale yellow-copper colour with a good creamy white head. Retention is excellent and thick foamy lace is all around. A beautiful bouquet of blueberries is let out for the aroma. Hints of pepper and honey are there too. The mouthfeel is watery with a thin body. Blueberry purée is present in the taste, but not as much as in the smell. Not too sweet, but with the touch of pepper. Bitterness is very light in the aftertaste. Served with real blueberries in the glass at the brewpub itself. Reminds me of the Polish brew Lezajsk Pelne which is not a fruit beer, but is real close to this one with the blueberries and pepper. A real good experience.

12 oz bottle from mullet2007; Nose of blueberry cobbler (fruit with some sweetness); very lightly hazy gold with a small white head; tastes like fresh blueberries with some light tartness and very light bitterness as the finish.
