Dull IPA, not bad but fairly plain, with a modest grapefruit-lemon hop front and a deep piney vein to close things out. Light bready malts provide a bare minimum of a grainy base, and a mild herbal fade adds a little complexity to an otherwise nondescript back end. Eh.

Pours an amber from a can, thick white head with lots of lacing. Piney skunky aroma. Skunky sweet pine flavor up front followed by skunky bitterness. Skunky.

Sample at Hoof Hearted during the "Konkey Dong - Can Release Party" on 05/07/2017. Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014. Pours gold with a foamy, white head. Solid IPA, well balanced. Lightly resinous, with notes of grapefruit, citrus rind, bitter pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Good balance to the finish. Nice beer.

Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a slight citrus and tropical fruit. The hop aromas are there but nothing over the top. Flavor is some pineapple and a big hit of bitterness. Again nothing stands out, it’s just kind a dull hop flavor. Finish is more bitterness and a clean finish. Kind of a basic no frills IPA.

On draft at the brewpub it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a strong bitter white grapefruit taste that resonates bitter on the tongue
