Our 13th showstopper leans into one of the world’s most persistent superstitions… the Shattered Mirror. We’re tempting fate by mashing up two of our most intense imperial stouts: Shattered Dream and Black Mirror. This dark alchemy of milestone beers melds layers of rich cacao, roasted coffee, toasted coconut, deconstructed rum barrels and luxurious vanilla. A defiant celebration of the shadows.

440ml can. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, oak, coffee. Taste is very sweet, vanilla, chocolate, oak, coffee, subtle rum, roast, light warming boozy notes to finish. Medium-full bodied, smooth.
A bit sweet and lactose-y for my liking but very nice otherwise.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours jet black with a brown head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, charred, umami, burnt toast, rich chocolate character, gateaux, bitter - sweet, espresso coffee, chocolate bourbon biscuits, dried fruits and toasted fruit cake. The taste is smooth, dark roasted malt, pretty sweet, milk chocolate, malt loaf, gateaux, charred, dark roasted coffee, mocha, warming, tiramisu, boozey and chocolate liqueur and dark roasty finish. Fulsome body and average carbonation. Maybe. A bit sweet for my liking, but not bad.
