6 week old pint can A: Poured a crystal clear mahogany tea color with 1/2 of beige head that fell to a film. S: Earthy and leafy with faint pine, graham crackers and cocoa. T: More bitter than sweet with piney herbal hops mingling with wood and low toasty bread sweetness. Nice balance with a peppery finish. M: Light and smooth with prickly carbonation and a clean finish. O: A bit thin maybe but very tasty and crushable. Worthwhile.

Location: Multiple drafts at CLT, first one was 12/18/14
Aroma: Sweetish aroma of caramel malts, bread, toast, mild earthy hops, and some nutty notes
Appearance: Brownish color with a reddish hue, a light brown head, and some decent lacing
Flavor: The taste leans sweet, with a light, balancing bitterness, and a clean malty sweet finish
Palate: It is fairly light bodied, with a decent mouthfeel, mild stickiness, and average carbonation.
Overall Impression: Since the only bar in terminal A has terrible beer, the OMB seasonal tends to be the best option. I’ve had probably 8-10 of these over the last month, and it is straight up okay. Basically the definition of okay.

A reddish copper dunkel with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nutty caramel with light grassy hops, light roasted character, plain. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light nutty and mineral notes, nice. On tap at brewery.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear, bright amber-gold with a creamy, tan cap. Tasty, well rounded. Some toffee and toasted bread on the nose. Light-medium sweet with bready malts, faint leafy bitterness and toasty caramel. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Moderate sweetness at the end with dry and toasted caramel, light doughy bread. Tasty though fairly elementary.

On tap @ OMB. Pours a reddish orange appearance with a light brown head. Nutty aroma with caramel. A touch of fruits and earth. A touch sweet. Earthy. Moderate bitterness. Not bad.

22 oz. bottle. Dark brown color with a medium, bubbly, tan head that dissipates quickly to nothing. Light coffee aroma, with some brown sugar, cinnamon, and some rye. Very sweet and malty, with some very light earthy, hop bitterness in the finish. Medium to heavy body, chalky, and sticky. Overall, this is a nicely balanced, simple, but tasty beer.
