Draft: Poured a murky yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light smoke with light funky notes is quite unique. Taste is also a complex mix between some smoked corn (?) and light funky yeast ester with lightly refreshing wheat malt. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Very well brewed with lots of complexity while retaining low alcohol.

On tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a dark brown with slight haze and a brown head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a good amount of smoke giving a bit of a ham note with some roasted malts and dark bread. Flavor was similar with even more smoke, but still balanced by the roasted malts and dark grains.

A hazed yellow wit with a thin white head. In aroma, light fruity esters with faint smokey notes. In mouth, an explosion of bananas overlayed with smooth smokey notes, a bit of cloves, light and refreshing. On tap at Braises et Houblons, May 1 2011.
